Mick Symonds of Atos presented Helix Nebula at the Connected Enterprise congress at Fort Voordorp, The Netherlands on 14 May 2013.
The third Connected Enterprise in 2013
The congress was attended by 150 IT Managers from mostly NL-based enterprises.
It was fairly broad-ranging, covering new connectivity models, developments in social media, digital security and smart grids, among others.
The presentation on Helix Nebula, based on our standard presentation material, addressed the initiative as a whole, the need for a Blue Box, and large-scale data management.
In addition, interviews were given to the Chief Editor of IT-Executive magazine, the resulting article from which is now accessible (in Dutch) at, and to a film crew from the organisers.

Helix Nebula is a new, pioneering partnership between leading IT providers and four of Europe’s biggest research centres, CERN, EMBL, ESA and PIC, charting a course towards sustainable cloud services for the research communities - the Science Cloud.
