Europe’s Leading Public-Private Partnership for Cloud

The Helix Nebula Initiative is a partnership between industry, space and science to establish a dynamic ecosystem, benefiting from open cloud services for the seamless integration of science into a business environment. Today, the partnership counts over 40 public and private partners.

Helix Nebula listed in top 10 list for 2012 by HPC in the Cloud magazine

Helix Nebula is No 8 in the Top Ten list of Cloud initiatives in 2012 of the HPC magazine. Helix Nebula is part of the list together with great initiatives for the cloud ecosystem launched in 2012 such as: Amazon web services, Open Cloud/ API initiatives and much more.


The article describes Helix Nebula initiative as a challenge regarding  multi-vendor, multi-cloud  operability.  The European Science Cloud - as the article refers to Helix Nebula - is the only Europe based initiative included in the HPC magazine list.
