Europe’s Leading Public-Private Partnership for Cloud

The Helix Nebula Initiative is a partnership between industry, space and science to establish a dynamic ecosystem, benefiting from open cloud services for the seamless integration of science into a business environment. Today, the partnership counts over 40 public and private partners.

Helix Nebula @ CEBIT 2014, Hannover, 10-14 March 2014

T-Systems presented Helix Nebula – The Science Cloud, as part of its Innovation-Programme at the Cebit event in Hannover from 10-14 March.

The CeBIT is one of the most important and internationally widely renowned events of the digital industry. Through its unique combination of trade fair, conferences, keynotes, corporate events and lounges, it has become a significant initiator for efficient initial business contact as well as economic success.

From 10 to 14 March, Hannover Exhibition Grounds hosted the most important event of digital economy worldwide.

Some 300.000 IT-experts visited the CEBIT in Hannover. T-Systems demonstrated several innovative topics around cloud, big data, collaboration, mobile and connected cars.

More than 1000 contacts were recorded at T-Systems booth and several of them attended the Science Cloud demonstration showing how Helix Nebula can contribute to excellence in science.

Follow-up meetings with customers from research and education have been agreed to discuss how they can make use of the Helix Nebula Science Cloud in future.
